I discovered the fascinating intricacy of psychological therapy 25 years ago when my psychotherapist supported me to deal with a life crisis, and to undergo an identity and life changing process. It was an experience which made me realise how little I knew about what would really make me feel happy and fulfilled. Through psychotherapy I understood myself, my needs, wants and my choices.
I describe myself as a developmental-relational integrative psychotherapist and I believe in people’s uniqueness reflected by their personality, life experiences and beliefs. I see each person as a whole including body, feelings, mind and spirit. My therapeutic aim is to use a full range of approaches to encourage the person to develop their sense of self and their relationship to others, and support them to make fulfilling choices in their lives
My journey of understanding human psychology and developing skills and experience started with a 4 years programme accredited and rigorously monitored by the United Kingdom Council for Psychotherapy (UKCP)
