Clinical Supervision

Clinical supervision is fundamental to the provision of a safe, ethical, competent and effective psychological therapy service.

As an experienced Integrative Clinical Supervisor, certified and registered with UKCP I offer supervision to both trainees and accredited psychological therapists.

Accessing regular supervision is an ethical responsibility and professional requirement, as it protects the quality and the boundaries of the unfolding psychotherapeutic process,  supports the development of the supervisee’s knowledge, both theoretical and practical, as well as focus on self-care to avoid burnout.

It is important that the clinical  supervision is offered in a manner in which it creates a safe and non-judgemental relational space where reflections and knowledge is shared and considered with curiosity and interest, with the aim to gain new perspectives, develop awareness of potential blind-spots, seek clarity about competencies and directions for professional development.
